Flooring repair & replacement
Laminate, engineered and vinyl-plank repair or replacement — subfloor prep, clean transitions and trim, in the rooms you use most.
Typical scope
The work most flooring requests include. Your exact scope is confirmed in a written quote before anything starts.
Lifting and disposing of the old floor covering
Checking and preparing the subfloor for a level lay
Installing laminate, engineered or vinyl plank
Fitting transitions, thresholds and trim
What’s included — and what isn’t
Clear boundaries up front so the quote and the invoice match.

- Underlay and standard installation materials
- Cutting and fitting around fixed obstacles
- A final walkthrough for lifted seams or gaps
- Supplying the finished flooring material (customer or quoted)
- Subfloor structural repair or joist work
- Hardwood sand-and-refinish
- Moisture remediation or mould treatment

Where regulated work begins
Cedar & Stone does finishing and improvement work. Anything that touches electrical, plumbing or gas — or that requires a compulsory-trade certification or a permit — is outside this service unless the member holds the right authorisation for it.
Where a job needs regulated work, we say so before quoting and coordinate the right licensed trade rather than doing it ourselves. Membership review confirms documents on a date; it is never a substitute for a required licence.
