Fixture installation
Lighting, fans, hardware and mounts installed cleanly — with the regulated-work boundary stated up front, so you always know who does what.
Typical scope
The work most fixture-installation requests include. Your exact scope is confirmed in a written quote before anything starts.
Mounting light fixtures, fans and brackets securely
Fitting hardware, handles, shelves and mirrors
Wall-anchoring for TVs and heavy mounts
Tidying and testing the finished install
What’s included — and what isn’t
Clear boundaries up front so the quote and the invoice match.
- Locating studs and using appropriate anchors
- Standard mounting hardware and fasteners
- Protecting surfaces during the install
- A final check that everything is level and secure
- New electrical wiring or circuits (licensed electrician)
- Gas connections of any kind
- Plumbing hook-ups
- Anything requiring a permit or compulsory trade

Where regulated work begins
Cedar & Stone does finishing and improvement work. Anything that touches electrical, plumbing or gas — or that requires a compulsory-trade certification or a permit — is outside this service unless the member holds the right authorisation for it.
Where a job needs regulated work, we say so before quoting and coordinate the right licensed trade rather than doing it ourselves. Membership review confirms documents on a date; it is never a substitute for a required licence.
